Ted's Restaurant

A cozy neighbourhood diner that doesn't try to look vintage--it is vintage, much like the Highland Creek Village it sits in. It's our favourite for a weekend brunch.

Ted's is amazing place to have breakfast I enjoyed their Mega breakfast which has your pancakes your sausages your bacon your eggs whatever you want your eggs I have my scrambled eggs best when you get a chance you should go in Friendly waitresses Cook's amazing in the environment clean very clean.

Old school prices. Great classic diner. Bacon is always so crispy 👍. Nice staff.

The best damn breakfast in all of Toronto. Even better than the ones in NYC! Everything was on point, bacon was perfect, peameal was perfect, I mean WOW.Not many places left that can make a good breakfast from the heart....

It’s a neighborhood favorite been around for ever! I lived in this area for almost 40 years and the place hasn’t changed. Still serves an amazing breakfast and the staff are really friendly. The place to go when in the area.

I have been going to Teds for over 25 years now from hockey games at west hill to Sunday morning breakfast now. Some of the best customer service you could ever ask for. It’s everything can think of when a classic diner comes to mind. Western omelettes and club sandwiches are a staple on the menu. Coffee mug is always full as well. Parking is close by and is a landmark in highland creek.

This is old school dinner, a great place for breakfast and going back in time to this classic dinner. A must if your in the area.

My family and I on Sundays often make efforts to find new places to have breakfast together - today we discovered TED's Restaurant and loved it. Its a quaint diner-style place that's located on Old Kingston Road in Toronto. Reasonably priced too. I noticed some other yummy stuff on their menu and if their all-day breakfast is anything to go by, I will definitely be visiting again for lunch or dinner. Kept it simple today with a nice cheese and sausage omlette, home-fries, toast with marmalade, an OJ to wash everything down and a coffee to cap it all

Friendly, efficient staff. Good food, fast service and if I ask for crispy bacon and eggs over medium--- I get it. Great breakfast specials, I got the three egg and bacon. This is a roomy family restaurant of the "greasy spoon" genre. My father always ordered chili and toast. Many other specials to choose from.

I haven't been to this place in close to 20yrs. The food is ok not the greatest. Eggs were over cooked, bacon way too crispy for my liking and the sausage was over cooked as well. There are A LOT of 5star reviews about Ted's I'll give them the benefit of the doubt an say they were having an off day?

I've gone several times. The food has been consistent - breakfast and lunch. Tastes good, not too oily, fresh. Good portions, good value. Good service.

Amazing Ted’s is located on a quaint stretch of Old Kingston Road lined with great shops. Ted’s fits right in. It has been here since 1954. Classic diner fare served fresh and tasty with a smile in a comfortable, clean restaurant.

It's a staple in the community. Not the best, but good... so it's good if that's what your want. If you want best, go somewhere else and pay a higher price for it.

A warm and cozy spot with lots of locals. We got breakfast here and service was quick and friendly. Portions were generous and the food was good.

They offer an awesome range of fresh food. I liked dining here. Staff members are always very kind, rates are affordable and the spot is always clean.

Great food...grouchy staff. We ordered coffee and they brought us an open container of milk, a used spoon that had already been stired into a drink and a dirty saucer. The waiter claimed the cream must have opened by itself. She also brought a new spoon but no cream. The coffee went cold. staff don't seem to care when you're there. Don't get me wrong, the food is amazing especially the bacon but the service needs improved. Big time. We go to egg smart over in the rylander plaza and get a totally different experience But not as good bacon.

They serve large portions and for reasonable pricing. kind staff. I recommend this place.

Very chill dinner with great people working there. Always very welcoming and warm. Sometimes it's pretty busy, but never had a problem getting a table. Love the milkshakes and the bacon corner. Typical diner fare so don't expect anything that fancy or to blow your mind. But it's comfort food in a great atmosphere.

Cozy neighbourhood diner. All the comfort food in the world. For their scrumptious breakfast special to their homemade never fail chicken noodle soup to the amazing hungry Man special. The staff is always super duper friendly and even with a full house service is never slow.

This place is exactly what it promises to be. A diner with standard fare. The food is reliably good, reasonably priced diner fare and the service is always pleasant. I always enjoy my visits to Ted's.

Best breakfast place ever

Went for the pie and the coffee and was not disappointed. I was craving a good slice of pie and Teddy's provided, along with a nice simple lunch sandwich. Thank you.

Great little neighborhood spot, clearly popular with the locals. Hiding in the Old Kingston Rd/Military Trail area, it's hard to believe you're still in the city!The banquet burger was great, big patty and lots of toppings. Greek salad seemed to have Italian dressing, though, but other than that, great lunch!

Wow! Gotta give this place a try. We had an awesome first visit. Quality food, generous portions, good coffee and friendly service. We will definately be back!

Hands down the best restaurant in Oshawa. If you haven't been you need to run there now. And make sure you save room for the coconut cream pie.

Amazing cozy little place with a nice 80s ambiance. Building’s a little old but that works in its favor. The service was absolutely great and gave just the right amount of attention and answered all our questions about the menu. The prices are extremely reasonable and the servings are generous. Amazing bang for buck. The food was also pretty nice, although the potatoes we had did taste a little stale.

I always get the French roasts - big portions and tastes home cooked - which I love! The staff are really friendly and always accommodating!

Ted's has been in the Highland Creek community for many, many years. The staff are friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced and portions are very generous. Perfect place for breakfast lunch or dinner

Teds Restaurant brings back old school diner vibes with great atmosphere, fresh food and friendly staff. Wether it be breakfast, lunch or something in between you will always find something you enjoy! I will definitely be coming back in the future when I am in the area.
